As I showed you already weeks ago and nobody believed me, Rolex did just announce it’s 50th anniversary  (1967-2017) the Sea Dweller. Here it is, the 43 mm new Single Red Rolex Sea Dweller for 50 anniversary with cyclops!…

Which I predicted last year for Basel News 2016….

Hopeful at first but then why in a Cellini design? Finally the moon phase is back but it still needs some decent styling to become successful, IMHO. Besides the fluted bezel it’s the typo that doesn’t match…

 

Reminder, the Ref 6062 oyster case moon phase automatic from 70 years ago…

And apperently updated the Yachtmaster, which I can’t see the difference but then I was never impressed by this model so far..
